Hungry Girl

Exercise: Still raining here in Virginia.  When will it stop!?  So, instead of biking to the gym, we drove, which wasn’t too bad because I doubt I could have biked anyway.  For some reason I was so tired this morning – perhaps coming down from three days of stress.  Anyhow, I was actually nodding off on the drive over, good thing the boy was driving ;).  I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and one turn of my circuit with arms only.  My legs were really fatigued, so I gave them a rest.

I have also been super hungry today! Seriously, cannot get satisfied.  I’m sure that’s from the stress as well.  The good thing is I am feeling a whole heck of a lot better today, aside from the hungry tummy!  Thank you for all your well wishes and understanding.  🙂 

So nearly everyone at work was asking me if everything was ok (I took Mon-Wed off).  I am so irritated with my boss, he is always telling people why I’m out.  I tend to like to keep my personal and professional lives separate.  So when he passes on news that my Grandfather died, my FIL was having surgery, etc. it kind of ticks me off.  I only tell him, because he has to approve my leave.  In this case I just told him that I needed a few personal days, he called me up today (he works in a satellite office) and gave me a hard time about my lack of information in my email.  Does your boss ever do stuff like that?  How would you handle it? 

Breakfast (266 cal): Egg whites, spinach and laughing cow on WW toast with carrots and cukes on the side.

Mid-morning snack (354 cal): I only held out until 9:30 before whipping up some cinnamon banana oats with almonds and soy milk.  Yummy, but not filling. :-/

Lunch (422 cal): Noon could not get here quick enough!  I grabbed a salad from the deli and this Spicy Tomato Lentil soup just because it looked so fab.  I topped my salad with some hummus and added a tofurkey/honey mustard/ flat-out when I got home.

Snack (336 cal): I had to break into my snack at 2:30 – apple + PB….. and then into my desk stash about an hour later for brown bag popcorn and a mock mocha.

Dinner (491 cal): I was trying to think of something that would be super filling and I came up with a “Philly Cheesesteak Wrap” with a huge crown of broccoli and a pink lady.  My wrap contained: MorningStar Farms crumbles, onion/pepper mix, spinach and provolone.  The wrap was SOOO good – melty and “beefy”.
It didn’t quite do the trick, but water and tea will have to do for the rest of the night!
