I didn’t sleep well last night, so this morning I was Miss Crankypants. This was particularly unfortunate for the boy who had to run with me this morning. I find that its best if I just don’t talk when I’m in these moods and the boy was happy to oblige after my initial snippiness. So needless to say there wasn’t much talking during our run and no talking means faster running. We hauled butt this morning (for us)!
This was a 30 minute training run, I think it is weird to see how far you can go in 30 minutes rather than how fast can you complete X miles. Anyhow, I was happy with our times and my heart was pumping the last mile it was in the 170s the whole time! Once we finished I was thoroughly decrankified. Yes I routinely make up words.

Breakfast (3):
I was running out of spinach so my eggwhites also included some broccoli. Served on toast with laughing cow cheese. I prefer just spinach.
Mid-morning Snack (5.5):
After yesterday, I had to have this again. Chocolate PB2 Banana Flax Oatbran with chocolate macaroons.
Lunch (6):
Philly cheese pita with steamed veggies and two kiwi. For dessert I had two figs and two macaroons. The pita was stuffed with boca crumbles, sauteed green peppers and red onion, and melted provolone cheese.
Mid-afternoon Snack (3):
Chobani with cherries/berries and fiber one.
Dinner (9):
So this was a lot better in my head….. Spicy peanut tofu, bulgur/edamame pilaf, green beans, and an apple with chocolate PB2. The tofu grew on me by the second slice, but I will have to keep tweaking this one. I broiled it, maybe I will bake it next time.

I tried broiling tofu once and it didn’t work for me either! I’m not a fan of it when it’s jiggly in texture… Still looks delicious though!
hahah “jiggly in texture” – me either! I usually bake it until it is chewy. I am trying to branch out. hehe
NOM – beautiful eats. I don’t care for the jiggle much myself BUT I like it raw. Which is like the ultimate jiggle.

I use a Polar RS200sd running computer with foot pod. I love it.
